replacing valve in tubular body without tearing orings  on mokal mirage

Replacing valve in tubular body without tearing orings on mokal mirage.
The uppper tubular body is threded on the back and will gouge the orings when sliding the valve assembly in.
Sliding in from the front is also problematic because i removed the feedneck and there is a sharp edge where the feedneck bottomed out.

In markers with chronic o-ring cutting threads, I've used sand paper on a dowel to smooth off the tops of the threads. It takes the anno off of the threads, but you have a serviceable marker.

Old AGD ASAs could be that way.
